Effective today, I am going to begin transitioning the ownership of RTI to Presbyterian Deacon. I have prayed much about this and the time is right to do this. I find myself needing to deal with my personal situation, esp. my wife's illness, and having less time to devote to the many day to day aspects of running RTI.
Presbyterian Deacon (Sterling) is an outstanding defender of the Reformed faith and as we have all seen from his posts, one who is steeped in Scripture and doctrinal knowledge. God answered my prayers by sending him to RTI and I am confident that RTI is now in good hands. I am excited and look forward to seeing how RTI grows and evolves under Sterling's leadership.
PD has asked me to serve as a moderator, and I have gladly accepted the role. Despite these changes, I plan to remain an active member of RTI, posting where I am interested and supporting RTI's evolution and growth. I will also help Sterling in the transition, as there is plenty to learn about running a discussion forum. But moving forward, I ask that everyone look to PD as the new owner. Fortunately, the underlying software of the forum is very stable and the transition should not take more than a month or so.
Please join with me in lifting up prayers in support of PD's new responsibilities. God bless him for taking on such a challenge!
May God bless both you and PD as you both prayerfully seek God's approval in this transition with the ultimate goal of giving God all the glory and praise. For everything has a time and a season which the Lord has appointed before all time and space to occur. I look forward to continued membership here at RTI and in supporting PD in this God glorifying ministry as I am moved and able to do so.
In Jesus name, Amen!

May the shift be smooth. I pray for the continued success of RTI, and of each of you in your other endeavors. _________________ "... I have sworn upon the altar of God, eternal hostility against every form of tyranny over the mind of man." Thomas Jefferson

AMR--I may follow you, but I feel that I can not truly replace you. Your leadership of this forum has been exemplary, and I pray that I might be able to carry on with the same high standard you have brought here.
You and your wife are in our prayers. May God bless and comfort you both. _________________ Sterling A. Harmon, Jr.

I just found my way over here. I see some familiar usernames.
I'm grit, and I'm a founding PCAer frum Jawja, but all the intros I read abouts were so marvelously in-depth I felt a little embarrassed to just pop in there and say howdy, so I wanted to wish PD well in taking the wheel and acknowledge some special prayin' fer the AMR pair too.
Hopefully I'll get the opportunity to wander in occasionally and see what's what.
